My Top 10 Favorite Movies
If I could watch movies all day long, I would. I love being able to spend an entire day in my bed, relaxing and watching all types of movies. I watch quite a few series especially after I read the books, usually I end up comparing which I like better but it is still my favorite thing to do.
I wanted to share with you my ten favorite movies of all time, you’d be surprised to know that I am an absolute fan of chick flicks fan, except for Hallmark movies (they all just have the same plot in my opinion), don’t hate though because I will still watch them, they just aren’t my favorite. I watch all movie genres, most of the time I avoid scary movies but there as some that really crack me up. Chick Flicks are definitely number one followed by action packed movies but here are my top 10 favorite movies.
Harry Potter Series– If you know me, then this isn’t really that big of a surprise but yep, I love Harry Potter. I have 4 different sets of the books including the illustrated versions and I have a Harry Potter movie marathon every time I go on break from school. My favorite movie in that series is “The Order of the Phoenix”, followed closely by “Deathly Hallows Part 2” I love all of the movies but if I put all of them in my list then I will only have two more slots to fill.
Captain America: The Winter Solider– I am a big Marvel fan but this movie is one of the few Marvel movies that made my top 10 list, I can relate to Captain America in this movie because it’s honestly like his life is just getting back on track just to have it come crashing down again but yet he still stays strong throughout it, which is kinda how my life goes. Plus Chris Evans is super super good looking.
The Fast and the Furious Series– I won’t lie, I am a sucker for classic cars. My dream car is a 1968 Dodge Charger with 2000 hp but these movies are just amazing to watch. I don’t really have a favorite among them but I like that the story behind all of this is that family is everything and family isn’t just blood.
Mulan– Of course I had to throw in a Disney movie, who wouldn’t right? I have always been hooked to Mulan, in fact it is my go to Disney movie when ever I need to feel a little bit braver. I watched this movie during chemo many times just to get through those hard days.
The Kissing Booth– Remember how I said I am a sucker for Chick Flicks? This movie is the cutest movie I’ve seen all year. I watched it three times the day I first saw it, that is how cute it was. It is about a girl who falls in love with her best friends brother and he falls in love with her but his brother doesn’t approve. It’s really cheesy but it’s right up in my ally.
Pirates of the Caribbean– I told you I am really into movie series. I mean who isn’t a fan of Pirates (If you aren’t, do yourself a favor and go watch these movies), I love the story behind Captain Jack as he is the baddest pirate out there but still has a sweet side. I honestly think he is who I got to be so sarcastic from.
Spider-man: Homecoming– Just like every young adult who hasn’t fallen in love with Tom Holland? He is the perfect Spiderman for this go around of MCU, I think he really put in to perspective of the awkward kid in high school kid just trying to fit in with a big secret. I won’t lie, everyday during radiation treatments, I would fall asleep and dream about having superpowers. There is just something about superhero movies that really gave me hope and to keep moving forward.
National Treasure: If you know my sister and I then you will know that we are major history nerds, like if you’ve never seen anyone geek out about the Declaration of Independence, come have dinner with us. These movies are a prime example of history and while it may not all be historically correct, they are still good movies to watch. I love the idea of traveling the world to do research and find lost treasures.
Love, Simon: Alright, not your average Chick Flick but it is still on my top 10 movies. This movie is about a teen who knows he is gay but is afraid to let his friends and family know. He goes through a whole lot to keep it a secret. It is another cheesy movie but I like it. I watched it on my way to Seattle over the summer and a few times after watching it, it soon became one of my favorites.
The Greatest Showman: Alright, I love movie musicals. This movie was absolutely amazing. It was about achieving your dreams and doing something out of the ordinary. I really love this movie, I actually have the soundtrack on my Apple Music so it is definitely good if it made it on to there. I actually got to see Hugh Jackman in person in September and he sand one of the songs. He was the motivational speaker at the DoTERRA convention and yes, he is even more good looking in person.
Well there you have it my top 10 Favorite Movies, I really enjoy watching movies and watching new or different movies. So if you have any movie suggestions comment below and I will most definitely watch them.
